People immediately imagine a shelter house whenever they think of adopting or rescuing a kitty cat. Well, have considered may be going to a bookstore?
A Canadian Bookstore, named Otis and Clementine’s Books and Coffee located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada has come up with an extremely innovative approach to persuade people to rescue adorable cattos. When you walk into this bookstore to do a little browsing or for your regular cup of Joe, you may notice something unusual. You will be pleasantly surprised, ofcouse.
#1 Otis and Clementine’s Books welcomes you to a world of books and coffee where kittens are everywhere, and you can adopt them too!
#3 A rescue group called the South Paw Conservation Nova Scotia has provided these kitties
You’ll spot lots of kittens throughout the store, napping and playing around the store. Perhaps even reading The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Suess when no one’s around. The most noteworthy part though, is that you can adopt these kitties from the bookstore and bring them to their furrever loving home they so extremely deserve. Cats, books, and coffee – what else do you need?
#4 The bookstore has so far been able to help 30 kitties find their furrever home
#5 The adoption rate at the book store is 100 percent!
Ellen Helmke, the owner of Otis and Clementine’s bookstore, revealed that some kittens and their mama are usually present at the store. However, the kittens in the bookstores are not just passerby that have been taking in to be protected from the cold. These kitties have been generously provided by the rescue group named the South Paw Conservation Nova Scotia.
If you do happen to be around the Upper Tantallon and take a visit to Otis and Clementine’s where you find a furrball friend that you can’t stop adoring, you better run to Helmke, because she shares that all the kittens that come to store are in and out very quickly!
